Q?

I need a new moving truck (or a new 'Pro mover' body for a used truck). how do I make sure that I get an Allvan body?

A.

You are wise. Call Allvan. If you prefer, ask your local truck rep to call us. We custom build bodies and mount these to all new or used trucks – including but not limited to Ford, Freightliner, GMC, Hino, International, Isuzu, Kenworth, Mack, Peterbilt, etc. We serve pro movers and truck reps all over the country. Finally, if your truck guy tries to sell you a non-Allvan body, you need a new truck guy. Kidding (mostly). Please ask your rep to get you an Allvan quote too, so that  you can compare/contrast. Knowledge is power.

Q?

What if I need a curtainsider trailer or body?

A.

Congrats on your intellectual prowess. A curtainsider is often a superb solution, and Allvan builds the best. Please contact us or your preferred trailer rep (we regularly upfit new and used flatbed trailers of all models and sizes) or contact your local truck rep (we build and mount cside bodies to all trucks.) Many trailer and truck reps are not comfortable discussing curtainsiders because these units are so niche. If you or your rep do not know cside, we can help (you and them) get up-to-speed in short order. Knowledge is power (again.)

Q?

I need replacement curtains, can Allvan help?

A.

No problem. We build the highest-quality replacement curtains for all brands, styles and sizes of curtainsider you may be running. We source parts and vinyl from Europe (not China) because they offer the best quality.  Need large format digital-print or inked graphics applied to your new curtains? We have you covered there as well. Our fleet graphics department is talented.

Q?

I need fleet graphics?

A.

Good news: we do all kinds of fleet graphics. To start a quote for you, please send us your graphics files if you have them or we can help you design them if you do not. Our full-service fleet graphics team designs, prints and installs.

Q?

What is the difference between a sliding kit and a curtainsider?

A.

Slider kits are meant to open and close like an accordion (think polka.) When you fully retract this kind of unit to the front or back you get full access to the flatbed, but your load is temporarily uncovered as well. The sides and ‘roof’ and rear flaps are usually all made of lighter gauge vinyl. Curtainsiders have an aluminum roof + a steel bulkhead and rear-end. Only the side curtains (thick European vinyl) open and close. Csiders allow full side access and loads are always covered regardless of the situation thanks to the fixed roof. Curtainsiders are a long-term capital good meant to last decades and hold-up better to use/abuse vs slider kits (anecdotal customer feedback that also happens to be very true.

Q?

What is Optivan Prime?

A.

Please call Dave to discuss because we can’t make him shut-up about it (615.751.5289). Optivan Prime is a true game changer for the professional moving industry – especially you vanline dudes. It is proprietary Allvan equipment that will allow a mover to do the same move as a 26ft box truck for 1/3 the cost. Not a typo or White House Budget Office sketch estimate: 1/3 legit less dollars spent for world-class equipment. Don’t want to call Dave to learn more? OK, keep an eye on our site or just ask around. You will see and learn more soon as we bring this new system to market in 2021.

Q?

Is Dave really as charismatic and good looking as all his fans say that he is?

A.

Yes.
